Facing a field of over 50 women’s VIIIs, the CUW boats made the most of the fair conditions, between them posting the three fastest times of the day and convincingly beating several other university crews. Sweeping the board for pennants the lightweight VIII won the women’s Senior 2 division and the heavyweight crew the women’s Senior 4 and Senior Student divisions.

Congratulations to our CUWBC oarswomen who raced at Fullers’ Head of the River fours. We entered three heavyweight fours and one lightweight four, all of which gave very strong performances. Our S2+ four came third in their division and our other three boats came third, fourth and fifth.
